MORE THAN A CHIROPRACTOR

"I injured my shoulder in a snowboarding accident about 15 years back when I was in my 20's. It healed "OK" but was never quite the same. Over ten years later, I re-injured the same shoulder badly. I couldn't do a pushup or lift a suitcase to my car. I saw an orthopedic surgeon who X-rayed the injury and diagnosed as a separated shoulder. I tried a cortisone shot twice, but the injury persisted. The surgeon said the only choice was to have surgery. When you're a hammer everything looks like a nail. 

My wife begged me to go see Dr. Scott, who had helped her with some injuries in the past. I was completely unconvinced that a Chiropractor could help me in my situation. After all, I was working with "real" doctors already. However, I decided that peace in my marriage was worth giving it a shot.

The story ends with a complete rehabilitation of my shoulder with no surgery. Dr. Scott is more than a Chiropractor. She understands the mechanical aspects of the body (Bones/muscles) better than anyone I've ever met. In addition to adjustments of the spine, she also does Neuromuscular Reeducation (which hurts like crazy but works), and prescribes effective "at home" physical therapy. In my case, the PT was using a foam roller and a magical item called a "trigger point" ball.

Not only did my shoulder heal from the second injury, but I regained a range of motion in my shoulder that had been gone for almost twenty years since the original injury. If you're reading this review because you are skeptical, I can relate. However, I definitely recommend Dr. Scott and feel confident that you are in good hands. Good Luck! "

"Dr. Scott is an amazing chiropractor. She works your bones, muscles and tissues cohesively so that you are able to heal quickly and properly from an array of injuries.
